PHOTOGRAPHER - CHELSEA ALDRICH

If you came to this page expecting a third person bio of my accomplishments, then you've come to the wrong place. The first thing you should know about me is that I hate talking about myself. Now with that being said I will continue to go on and talk about myself, just know that it pains me.

The first time I knew I had it in me to be a photographer was when I was working for an antique shop here in Katy. I took pictures of all of the furniture and put them up on our website. I used my employer's camera which was an Olympus E-500, the nicest camera I had ever used. One day I was watching their grandson Tanner up at the shop when I decided to take him outside and take some pictures. He was so beautiful and captivating I knew that this was something I had to continue. Children are still my favorite subjects to photograph. Their complete honesty and candor remains unmatched.

As an Actor myself I had plenty of actor friends who were more than willing to be my guinea pigs. I started out shooting headshots for my friends and then friends of friends, until I finally realized that I was a profesional photographer. I later invested in a Canon 50D which is the camera I use now. I am very passionate about what I do, and can no longer go anywhere without my camera readily accessible. I love to photograph strangers when they don't think anyone's looking. I just love capturing people in their purest, most honest state. I look at people differently now, I look at the world differently now. Everything is a potential work of art waiting to be captured!
