A picture is worth a thousand words. A look, a touch, a shadow have infinite meanings. The story revealed is really in the heart and mind of the viewer. The photographer is a fine tuned instrument who recognizes the "moments" that become the stories of life.
Our world is filled with many stories ... some joyful, some tragic. Art sustains the soul, and where there is a lack of art, the soul famishes.
By purchasing one of these photographs, a portion of the proceeds will go to support art programs for children throughout the world, thereby"feeding the famine".
"It is my mission to provide a work of art with each photograph I take. Something worthy of hanging above your fireplace, instead of being hidden away in a photo album. I believe people want to prominately display their wedding photos, but are usually too embarrassed to do so. No one wants a cheesy, obviously posed picture of themselves hanging in the entryway. Which is why I aim to create a piece of art, that you just so happen to be featured in. The same principle applies to children's portraits, maternity photos, senior pictures, engagement photos, and family portraits (yes, that was an awkward way of way of trying to plugin important keywords, but what can I say).
As an actor myself, I know how important an actor's headshot is. It is the most important first impression you can make, so it better be a good one. A good headshot should not only be a true representation of your physical appearance but also of your personality and character. It should communicate who you are and what you can do. I will take as many shots as necessary until "who you are" is reflected in a single image."
